Weighs a whopping one oz per 50 feet. Cut it into 5 pc of ten feet. Melt the ends and coil individually. Carry these in your backpack on your 'round the world trip. Multiple uses: variable length clothesline, secure hotel door that has no lock, hoist bags off the floor, lash broken equipment, attach muddy/wet gear to outside of backpack.
